Celebrate our Grant Awardees.  Invite friends and join the party for Impact100 East Bay’s 6 Year Celebration.  Thanks to the generosity of 135 philanthropic women, we will grant three grants:  $100,000 Impact Grant, a $35,000 Community Grant and a one-time member sponsored Community Grant of $25,000.  Here are our three finalists:

• Community Resources for Science (crscience.org) - Their grant request is to fund the Amazing Math & Science Explorations (AMASE) which works with K - 5 Educators in Alameda and West CC Counties to develop grade appropriate Math & Science Curriculums working with experts from UC Berkeley, Lawrence Hall of Science, etc.  They are building on a similar, successful program targeting Language Arts. 
• Dentists on Wheels (dentistsonwheels.org)- in Pittsburg - DOW was a finalist from 2021.  They requested funding to provide an additional day of free dental clinic operation in East Contra Costa County.
• Meals on Wheels Diablo (mowdiabloregion.org) - They requested a grant to fund a year of "Breakfast Bags" for highly vulnerable seniors in East Contra Costa County.  This is a pilot program, which augments their standard dinner meals with additional food to sustain seniors for an entire day. 

We are excited that this year we will celebrate in-person on Saturday, September 24, from 3:30 – 6:00 PM at the Farmhouse at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. 

We will be serving hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, followed by the announcement of our Grant Awardees.  

Our ticket prices are only $25 thanks to one of our generous members.
