Join the Grants Committee in 2023
We’re kicking-off our 2023 Grant cycle. If you’re interested in learning about the amazing work local nonprofits do and would like to be a part of selecting this year’s finalists, consider joining us!
Members of the Grants Committee are tasked with reviewing Letters of Intent (LOI) and Grant Applications, conducting Site Visits and determining our Grant Finalists.
Regarding the time commitment involved, it takes approximately 10 hours to review the every LOI, another 10 hours to evaluate the Grant Applications, and about 4-5 hours for a Site Visit. Committee members are not required to engage in the entire process. However, all those interested in joining the Grants committee are asked to participate in the LOI review, which initiates our selection process. This year’s important dates include:
- March 3: LOI’s distributed to be read
- Mach 25: LOI Review Meeting (zoom)
- April 15-16: Grant Applications available to be read
- May 6: Grant Application Review Meeting
- May 10-June 15: Site Visits
